Located 20km south of Northampton, the fantastic Silverstone circuit is in the heart of England.
This former airstrip is often the scene of highly contested Grands Prix. Its layout originally offered two long straights and a clever mix of turns, sometimes slow, sometimes fast.
In 1991 a new portion was added before the last bend and above all a new rapid sequence was created, Maggots-Becketts-Chapel.
In 2010, the circuit underwent another major overhaul, with the construction of a new section between the Abbey and Brooklands corners and new facilities. The pit exit and its location have also been modified, allowing entry to a new section of the track.
