Located 100 km northeast of Toronto, it was inaugurated in 1961 and was the origin of the famous Canam challenge.
Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, it has a nice hilly and fast route, but suffers from the same problem as its predecessor (Mont Tremblant): the bite of frost destroys the bitumen, and what's more, safety is highly questionable. For these reasons, the circuit will be abandoned by Formula 1 in 1978.
