The Miami Grand Prix takes place around Hard Rock Stadium, which is the residential sports complex of the Miami Dolphins American football team. The circuit was designed specifically for Formula 1. It features 19 corners, 3 straights and potentially 3 DRS zones (drag reduction zones), which should encourage overtaking.
