Situé à 20km au nord-est de Budapest, le Hungaroring est ce que l'on peut appeler un tourniquet, puisqu'il ne comporte qu'une seule véritable ligne droite: celle des stands.

Les avis sont très partagés à son sujet. Mais qu'on l'aime ou pas, il semble promis à un bel avenir en Formule 1, car c'est la seule épreuve du calendrier organisée dans les pays de l'Est.
